1. Acceptance

By using Deep Thought Cloud (“Service”), operated by Dolutions AB, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Deep Thought Cloud provides:

  • AI-powered audio transcription
  • A meeting assistant that joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet meetings and records them for you, in the plans that include it
  • Content analysis and entity extraction
  • Transcription management
  • API access

3. Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your credentials secure
  • One account per person

4. Plans

The Service is offered as Free, Premium and Enterprise plans. What each plan includes, and its price, is listed at https://deep-thought.cloud/en/pricing/.

5. Acceptable Use

Do NOT:

  • Use for illegal purposes
  • Upload copyrighted content without permission
  • Attempt to bypass security
  • Share account credentials
  • Abuse the service with automated systems

6. Recording Meetings and Other People

When you record a conversation, upload a recording, or send the meeting assistant to a meeting, you are responsible for:

  • informing the people being recorded that they are recorded — the meeting assistant shows its name (“ notetaker”), its camera shows the Deep Thought logo, and it posts a chat message saying that it records, but this does not replace your own information to the participants;
  • having a lawful basis to record them and to have the recording processed by the Service, under the data protection and other laws that apply to you and to them;
  • not recording anyone who has objected, or where recording is not permitted;
  • the meetings recorded by your account’s calendar rule and by meetings you switch on.

The meeting assistant is included in some plans, within the monthly meeting hours of your plan. It may be refused entry or removed by the meeting’s host, and a meeting platform may limit what it can do; we do not guarantee that every meeting is recorded.

7. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of your audio and transcriptions
  • You grant us a limited license to process your content
  • We do not claim ownership of your data

8. AI Processing

Transcription and speaker identification run on our own hardware in Stockholm, and no content of a Free account is sent to an external AI provider. Meetings recorded by the meeting assistant are recorded by Recall.ai, our processor, stored in its EU region (Frankfurt, Germany), and transcribed on our own hardware. AI analysis on Premium and Enterprise runs by default at Berget.ai, a Swedish inference provider, with OpenRouter as the last resort when Berget.ai is unavailable. If you use BYOK (your own API keys), your content is sent to the provider of your primary key, and to no other external AI provider. The processors and where they run are listed in our Privacy Policy §5 and AI Transparency Disclosure §3.

9. Service Availability

  • Service provided “as is”
  • No guarantee of 100% uptime
  • We may modify or discontinue features with notice

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Data loss or service interruptions
  • Transcription accuracy
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Maximum liability limited to amounts paid in prior 12 months.

11. Termination

We may terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms
  • Remain inactive for 12 months
  • Engage in abusive behavior

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes resolved in Stockholm courts.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Healthcare Data Disclaimer

This service is NOT HIPAA compliant and is not intended for processing Protected Health Information (PHI). Do not upload:

  • Medical records or patient data
  • Healthcare provider communications
  • Any information subject to HIPAA regulations

If you require HIPAA-compliant transcription services, please seek a certified provider.

By using Deep Thought Cloud, you accept these Terms of Service.

Changes in version 1.1 (October 7, 2026)

  • §2: the meeting assistant.
  • New §6: your responsibility when you record meetings and other people.
  • §8: meetings are recorded by Recall.ai and transcribed on our own hardware.
  • Sections from §6 on are renumbered by one.
